20150510-2015-05-11 159-2Connect Groups are the heart of our church. It is here that we discover how our faith and our lives intersect. It is here that we connect to God, His word, each other and the world around us. Our connect groups meet throughout the week, all throughout town, in homes, offices or coffee-shops. This is the first place to get connected to! If you want to get involved in a Connect Group please send an e-mail to hpgabs@gmail.com or sign up at the info table at our Sunday meetings. You can also read more here.

Victory Weekend is about establishing strong spiritual foundations in our lives. This two-day retreat helps us deepen our relationship with God and focus on establishing the spiritual foundations necessary for a life-long walk with Him. Everyone at His People is encouraged to go through this weekend as this also serves as an introduction to the His People/EveryNation Family. If you want to know more or sign-up for the next Victory Weekend, please contact Theresa at hpgabs@gmail.com. The upcoming Victory Weekend dates are available on our Events page.

Sunday Service Ministries: We have a number of ministries that are active every Sunday at our services. These ministries all share the goal of working together to engage those coming to the service so that we can connect them to God and to each other. We are always looking for and creating space for new people who have a heart to get involved and serve together to honour God and make disciples.

His People has several ministry departments that provide great avenues for serving. For example, our Sunday Hosting Teams include Traffic Teams, Pre-Service Prayer, Information Counter, Hospitality, Ushers, Door Greeting Teams, Multi Media, Sound, Ministry Coordinators, Visitors Reception, etc. There is also HP Worship, His Kids, Youth and many more areas in which you can serve the Lord and others with your special gifts and talents.

If you want to get involved in a Sunday service ministry or know more about them, please contact Theresa at hpgabs@gmail.com. You can also contact the relevant ministry leader or visit the Information Desk after the Sunday service.
